Our Founders

Michael Franz, CPA, after spending four years in the U.S. Army he graduated from University of South Florida in 1982. He worked for Schechter, Beame, Burstein, Price Lucas & Company, an accounting firm in South Florida where he met Milton Beame.  During his career in public accounting, he worked with many clients in various industries and business structures until he decided to plant his flag.  In 1994 Michael Franz and Milton Beame founded Franz & Beame, P.A.  Since then, Michael Franz has spent his career concentrating on closely held businesses along with the individual needs of their owners and families.  Along with the accounting and tax knowledge, he has technical experience in data processing and computer consulting.  He is the "go to guy" who will take your needs and questions to heart while finding the solution.

Milton Beame, CPA, graduated from (CCNY) City College of New York, School of Business in 1950. He spent his career concentrating on closely held businesses along with the individual needs of their owners and families.  Eventually, he was a founding partner of Schechter, Beame, Burstein, Price Lucas & Company and managing partner for twenty seven years.   After forty years in accounting he made a short change in career direction into real estate brokerage. He returned to accounting and was a founding partner of Franz & Beame, P.A. in 1994. Milton Beame retired on December 31, 2007 from Franz & Beame, P.A. but his integrity and devotion to the needs of our clients continues.

Our History and Areas of Concentration

Franz & Beame, P.A., began in 1994 with general accounting services for business and individuals. This developed into strategic planning for individual wealth maintenance, minimization of tax liabilities for individuals and corporations and consulting services. We believe in "old school" principles, but we also believe in keeping up with the needs of individuals and businesses in this rapidly changing world.

Our entire operation is rooted in a tradition of meeting the highest standards of accounting practices. From this foundation, we offer our services to individuals, trusts, estates, and a wide range of businesses including LLC's, S-Corporations,  C-Corporations, Partnerships and Non-Profits.
